A New Home

After some three months of looking for a new house I finally find a new one. Normally, Its hard to move out during winter because of the freezing temperature here in Seoul. But this time, the weather is going with us. It is just a block away from my old home and just beside my factory. I cant believe it but now, I can just jump "Over the bakod" and its the factory. I also dont have the problem going back home whenever I left something (which I always did)-my wallet, cellphone, keys, etc.
Setting up a new house is a big task for me cos Im not really good on putting things up on my own, so it takes me 3 days to arrange everything. So from now on- up to the next 3 years of my life I will be living in this room.

MUSIC BOX: January

Yesterday, Im thinking about what songs will compose my January Edition of MY MUSIC BOX. For the past years, since I knew these persons. I feel that they have been a part of my daily life, daily struggles, and everyday fights. Their music just penetrates me and made me stronger in a way that I was able to win most of my emotional downfalls. Being alone is not easy but with tthese people, I've made it. This New year. I would like to share some of these songs to you to meditate. May it brings comfort to as well.

Coldplay- an English Alternative band from London . Its members are vocalist and pianist Chris Martin , guitarist Jhonny Buckland, bassist Guy Berryman and drummer Will Champion.
Coldplay are one of very few current British music acts to achieve major success in North America. Despite Coldplay's large worldwide popularity, the band have remained protective of how their music is used in the media, refusing its use for product endorsements. In the past, Coldplay turned down multi-million dollar contracts from Gatorade, Diet Coke, and Gap, who wanted to use the songs "Yellow", "Trouble", and "Clocks" respectively. According to Martin, "We wouldn't be able to live with ourselves if we sold the songs' meanings like that."
Since 2002, Coldplay have been active supporters of various social and political causes. They have been visible advocates of Oxfam's Make Trade fair campaign and Amnesty International. The group has also performed at various charity projects such as Teenage Cancer Trust.

Josh Groban- is a 25-year-old baritone who is changing the face of the music world. With a classical voice combined with the young energy and appeal of a rock star, Josh Groban offers a refreshing alternative to the standard Top 40 fare. Crossing the boundaries that define radio's musical genres--pop, classical, rock--his music combines elements of romantic classical pieces with the beats and the synthesized sounds of world music .
Josh was born in Los Angeles, California...and still lives there when he isn't touring.
In addition to English, Josh sings in Italian, French, and Spanish, but doesn't speak those languages fluently.
Josh is not only a great vocalist but also a talented instrumentalist and composer. He plays both piano and drums, and he cowrote three of the songs on Closer, his second album.
He's sold over 14 million albums worldwide.

Andrea Bocelli- He posesses a very special gift; a voice that communicates directly with the heart. He sings with a universal language of the heart and soul. Its certainly the way millions of listeners like me feel about his voice. Bocelli is truly unique in touching such a vast audience, despite in singing in a language that the majority do not understand. With the unprecedented success of his classical career, He has caused core classical repertoire to "crossover" to the top of the international pop charts and into previously uncharted territory in popular culture.

Andrea was born in Lajatico, rural Tuscany, not far from the ancient city of Pisa. He describes his childhood and upbringing as an idyllic existence in the Tuscan countryside, sorrounded by the simplest plesures of family, friends, nature and music.

Year Ender Post

A. ME IN 2006.

1. Ive never been hospitalized this year, Ive got some minor colds but I guess Ive beenon a perfect state of health this year. Thanks God for that.
2. I've gained a few pounds this year, Its not a good news for me trying to trim out. But thats a plain truth... Ive been maintaining my 62Kg(137 lbs) weight for a couple of years but now, it climbs up to 66.7(146lbs).
3. I've found a new sport to keep active. Since summer of 2006 I've been regularly getting off with my bike to a 20km-long ride. TRhe phote on the right shows my usual route, though I sometimes used alternative bicycle tracks scattered around Seoul.
4. Ive climbed 2 mountains this year. Mt. Pukhansan located in northern Seoul last spring and Mt. Tobongsan in Uijungbu City, Kyeonggi-do province during the late summer.
5. I successfully battled with reducing my Internet usage time ( I guess). This is a big challege for me coz Im suffering from insomia. I just have 4-5 hours of sleep everyday because of excessive time used on the internet. Now I swear to myself to use 3 hrs. a day from the usual 7 hours. The remaining 4 hrs will be added to my sleeping time.
